Warner Music Group (WMG) has appointed Oana Ruxandra to the role of chief digital officer & executive vp of business development, where she will oversee the label group's global digital strategy.
The New York-based executive most recently served as interim head of business development, alongside her post as executive vp, new business channels -- chief acquisition officer. In her new position, she'll continue to report to WMG CEO Steve Cooper.
“Oana has the passion, vision, and expertise to spearhead our digital strategy in both developed and emerging markets, while developing innovative partnerships that will reinvent the business for the future,” Cooper said. “A masterful negotiator and creative leader, she’s one of the brightest minds in the industry, and I’m very happy to officially welcome her into her role.”
